Simple enough. Palm’s range of equipment covers every
facet of paddle sport, plus a few more avenues beside.
Like many
pioneering brands, Palm was spawned out of individual needs.
In this case it was the need for dry gear that stayed together.
Some 25 years later, the same principle is applied to the
design and development of Palm equipment - the needs of you
and I.
In 1979 when founders Andy Knight and Bob Slee made their
first items of paddling apparel there was no pigeon holing.
The boat you paddled was the same one you repaired afterwards
and used again when the resin set. A paddle top was just an
anorak, and thermals were old jumpers.
Nowadays
it’s a little different. We make gear for those who
like to run the biggest white water in the world. Our test
team includes those who paddle solo across expanses of ocean,
and Palm buoyancy vests and cagoules are the first many young
paddlers use when they join the sport.
